USA Network | Queen Of The South

The ‘Queen of the South’ is a USA series which tells the story of the first woman to become the head of a Mexican drug cartel. The title sequence design combines elements from cartel symbolism, treating it as art. The animation gives life to some of these elements in an organic and subtle way. We are attracted to the elements which are beautiful from far away, but once we approach they reveal their dangerous and unsettling nature.
